Soulja Boy Caught In Car Accident After Mudslides In Malibu



Famous Rapper Soulja Boy was caught up in a mudslide. He tweeted severl minutes later after the incident saying he's thankful to be alive. Recently Soulja boy was caught up in a copy right scandal where he bought sever seemingly high tech gadgets that are of poor quality, added his own label on it and tried to sell it for premium price, he's currently under fire for doing this.

This is an example of soft news as it's about a celebrities personal life, meaning a lot of people won't particulalry care but fans of his music may be interested in the news story.




Cyntoia Brown Was Granted Clemency by Tennessee's Governor

"Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has granted executive clemency to Cyntoia Brown with less than two weeks left in office. According to a statement released by the governor’s office, after having served 15 years in prison, Brown will be released to parole supervision on August 7, 2019."

 Brown's story was for a long time considered a very controversial one as she murdered her rapist but the context behind the murder and other variables were never fully uncovered, leading to her serving 15 years in prison from the age of 16. The case was under a lot of fire particularly from Feminist groups over America and the BLM group.
