Magazines: Men's Health CSP analysis

1) Write a one-paragraph summary of your notes for each key concept from the booklet: Media Language  (e.g. conventions, narrative, genre etc.) The booklet uses a lot of aggressive language on the front cover such as "Blast" and "Demolish". Inside the actual magazine most articles are written as if it's a casual conversation with some references to other topics. 1) How does the magazine introduce itself? The magazine introduces itself as a "Men's lifestyle magazine" and tells you about it's worldwide reach. 2) What does the introduction suggest about the representation of masculinity in Men's Health's? It presents masculinity in a positive and also shows that they spend a considerable amount of money on clothing and fashion related items. 3) How do the print statistics for Men's Health compare to GQ and Esquire? Men who read "Men's Health" instead of "GQ" and "Esquire" are typically higher class, such as ABC1. 4) What is the difference between circulation and readership? I think I've successfully managed to portray an XXL magazine cover through the colours used and the general rapper vibes. 3) Put your cover alongside a couple of genuine covers of your chosen magazine. In terms of the main flash, taglines and the title really share a lot of differences, but the background in the original adds a lot to the actual magazine itself as it makes it look more alive, whereas in my own one it's a plain red that fades towards a darker shade adding very little to the magazine. 4) What is the   strongest   aspect of your work?
